En la mayor\u00eda de los casos, una debilidad o espasticidad muscular es responsable de la desviaci\u00f3n postural. Un examen visual de edemas de tejido blando y cambios de tama\u00f1o de m\u00fasculos, conocido como hipertrofia o atrofia, dar\u00e1 importantes indicaciones para llegar a un diagn\u00f3stico. Esta parte del reconocimiento se conoce como ANALISIS POSTURAL.<\/p>\n
Examen de Tacto<\/b>
\nEl fisioterapeuta, con el tacto, sentir\u00e1 calor o hinchaz\u00f3n de la zona lesionada. Una palpaci\u00f3n del tejido blando y huesos es siempre un paso muy importante de un reconocimiento bien hecho. Palpando los m\u00fasculos de la zona se reveler\u00e1 cualquier disfunci\u00f3n muscular que pueda requerir terapia. Esta parte del reconocimiento se conoce por PALPACION ESTATICA.<\/p>\n
Movimiento<\/b>
\nEl fisioterapeuta examinar\u00e1 la movilidad en la zona aquejada, intentando localizar cualquier tipo de limitaci\u00f3n debido a la lesi\u00f3n. La prueba del alcance de movilidad de una articulaci\u00f3n [pasivo e activo] a veces se conoce como test ortop\u00e9dico. Esta parte del reconocimiento se conoce como
\nPALPACION DINAMICA.<\/p>\n
Tests Neurol\u00f3gicos<\/b>
\nAdem\u00e1s de mirar, palpar y mover, los tests neurol\u00f3gicos ofrecen una informaci\u00f3n valiosa para que el fisioterapeuta pueda llegar a un diagn\u00f3stico. Dando suaves golpecitos para evaluar los reflejos de los tendones profundos y evaluando las p\u00e9rdidas de sensaci\u00f3n, son ambos procedimientos necesarios para la localizaci\u00f3n de nervios pinzados.<\/p>\n
El reconocimiento manual de los m\u00fasculos para medir la fuerza, debilidad o dolor, dar\u00e1 informaci\u00f3n adicional. Esta parte del reconocimiento se conoce como NEUROLOGIA FUNCIONAL.<\/p>\n

\nRadiograf\u00edas y otros tipos de im\u00e1genes son de ayuda para localizar cualquier anormalidad que pueda, o no, ser un caso para la fisioterapia.
