Lustigt nog orsakas den av f\u00f6r mycket eller f\u00f6r lite aktivitet &#8211; i och med det uppst\u00e5r obalans mellan musklerna. Gradvis utvecklas d\u00e5 en d\u00e5lig kroppsh\u00e5llning. Personer som har stillasittande arbete, eller kontinuerligt ligger i obekv\u00e4ma och ih\u00e5llande positioner kan utveckla \u00d6KS. Kroppsh\u00e5llningen kan ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5verkas av genetik \/ arv.
