Muscle Imbalance

Your muscles a friend or an enemy?
Of course I need my muscles,or even more strength ,is maybe your first thought. But what if the balance between the flexors and the extensor is wrong? The muscle is a contractile tissue that gets stronger and shorter with activity. They get shorter without a adequate stretch and/or wrong posture. An other problem is a static position, let’s say you keep your arm elevated for a couple of minutes. Then you soon get a fatigue in the arm caused by lack of circulation.
As result you get sore areas, trigger points, than can be active or sleeping TP. You get pain and lack of strength in the long run. Furthermore you can provoke an imbalance that change your posture dramatically. This can be avoided or at least reduced if you have someone with the skill to examine and guide you.

Correction of exercises, stretching, strengthening, inhibiting the tight ones, posture correction and ergonomic.
Who haven’t seen a real strong guy with bulging muscles but poor posture and walking like a duck.
I don’t think you would like to end this way.Result is an excessive wear and tear ending up with big joint problems.
Don’t do a lot of effort in the gym or elsewhere without a basic knowledge to reach your goal and feel better and healthier. We can help you, let’s Physiospain be,your gain.

Right Sequence
A correct cinematic sequence meaning right movement of the pelvis- upper body – arms and club are absolutely a must for the optimal result. Motion and power patterns is very much like a four-stage rocket, were the power of every stage in the sequence is carried over too the following.
If you are in anyway physically hindered resulting in a lack of full motion, strength, balance or coordination, your body will try to compensate with a very unstable result.
Reduced Injury
The risk of inducing pain, overload or injuries is eminent and
guaranteed is that they will come, sooner or later.
Titleist have come to understand this and have therefore developed a process called “Screening”, where the movement of the joints is measured in degrees.
You also do additional testing of muscle strength and balance among other things.

Authorised Titleist Instructor
As an authorised Titlest instructor, I am proficient to do this “screening”, thus being able to tell you with a large degree of accuracy – and this without ever having to se you play one ball – if you have a problem with your ”swing”,
Resulting in a slide, sway, casting, reverse spine angel, hanging back
The “Screening” is best combined with a video recording of your swing, this to easier illustrate what needs to bee corrected. I can facilitate you with the right exercise plan training instructions and if needed treatment.
This to improve your ability to get the right sequence,
guaranteeing improvement to your golf swing and limit the risk of injuries.

Collaboration
Between me, you and your golf-pro who will help you correct your tee-off / swing is an important part for us to achieve the best possible result.

TPI – has the biggest collection of golf specific health and exercise information, based on golf experts and tour players experience and knowledge, some of this info they share with you on the website MyTPI.com

Unique treatments

Many golfers and athletes have injuries that can be cured with shock and pressure waves.
From 1960 shock waves have been used to crush Scale formation in body tissues. Since 1980, they have been used to treat kidney stones with great success. New clinical research has shown that many golf injuries can be removed completely or partly with shock waves. They can reach down to a depth of 8.5 cm and affect blood vessels by increasing blood flow. They increase metabolism and can dissolve Scale formation within the tissue, including muscles, mucus sacs and joints. It also stops inflammation in the joints and joint capsules.
The pressure waves going down to a depth of 3.5 cm and distribute the liquid in the treated tissue. Waves provide effective massage of muscle cells and increases blood flow, while the waste materials are discharged.
The above treatments carried out after a thorough examination of the injuries. The treatment itself is perceived in different ways, but there is normally no side effects.
Rolf Martinsen is an expert in the treatment of shock – and shockwaves and has healed many golfers with typical golf injuries to joints, muscles, golf arms, heel spurs, and the like.
